Khol James is a Townsville based hip-hop producer, musician and artist.

Khol produced his first beat at the age of 10. After working as a DJ in high school, Khol started producing music more seriously and experimenting with multiple genres, including classical, RnB, rock and alternative, to create his own hip-hop sound.

Lyrically, Khol writes about his life and the experiences and challenges he’s faced as a young Indigenous male. In many ways, by sharing his story Khol contributes to the conversation about some of the issues and problems that are too often ignored and misunderstood by mainstream Australia.
